WORKSHOP ON “IDEA TO IPO – GATEWAY TO GROWTH THROUGH CAPITAL MARKETS”

FICCI Andhra Pradesh State Council with the support of the Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), organised a workshop on “Idea to IPO – Gateway to Growth through Capital Markets” at Hotel Daspalla, Visakhapatnam on Thursday, 29th October 2026.

The workshop focused on IPO readiness, SME IPO versus Mainboard listing, investor preparedness and access to growth capital for MSMEs and growth-stage enterprises.

Mr. M. Sudharsan Swamy, President, VCCI, delivered the keynote address, emphasising that an IPO marks a company's transition towards professional management and should be viewed as a milestone in its growth journey, not an end in itself.

The programme featured an expert presentation by Mr. R. Senthilmurugan representing National Stock Exchange (NSE) and a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Prateek Agarwal, Member, VCCI and CEO, World Trade Centre AMTZ. Dr. Satish Kumar Arya, Senior Member, VCCI and MD & CEO, Steel City Securities Ltd., participated as a panelist. The workshop provided valuable insights into accessing capital markets, enhancing investor readiness and exploring growth opportunities.

The strong representation of VCCI on the dais, along with the encouraging participation of a significant number of VCCI members, was highly appreciated and reflected the Chamber's active engagement and support for initiatives promoting business growth and development.
