SESSION ON MSME ENERGY EFFICIENCY BY SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC

MSME Energy Efficiency & Solarisation Workshop was organised by Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with Laya Green Ventures (LGV) and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) on 16th September 2026 at VCCI Conference Hall.

The session provided participants with practical insights and implementable solutions for improving energy efficiency, reducing operational costs and accelerating the adoption of solar energy in organisations.

The programme commenced with Opening Remarks by Mr. Subash from GAME, setting the context and objectives of the workshop. This was followed with the Presidential Address of Mr. M Sudarsan Swamy, President - VCCI, highlighting the importance of energy efficiency and sustainable energy solutions for MSMEs in achieving long-term competitiveness.

In a detailed presentation, Mr. Adarsh from Schneider Electric, covered practical approaches to energy efficiency, opportunities for reducing energy consumption and operational costs. He highlighted the role of solarisation in building sustainable and future-ready organisations. The session provided participants with actionable ideas and insights that could be considered for implementation within their respective organisations of different sizes.

The workshop concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Diwakar Vadapalli representing LGV and member of VCCI Advisory Council, summarising the key takeaways and encouraging participants to take meaningful steps towards improving energy efficiency and adopting sustainable energy solutions.
