This is an awareness program aimed at promoting India Chem 2024, scheduled for October 17-19, 2024, in Mumbai. The meeting was conducted in Visakhapatnam because the central government is keen on developing the industry, which is expected to grow from $220 billion now to $300 billion by 2029 and $1 trillion by 2040 across three PCPIRs namely Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha. The following objectives were set during the meeting for Andhra Pradesh.

Attract Anchor Investors: Bring in major investors to drive growth and development in the PCPIR.

Boost MSME Growth: Support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector.

Increase Investments: Attract 2.5 lakh crore investments across all three PCPIRs.

On invitation from FICCI, VCCI President delivered the vote of thanks and also provided the secretarial and administrative support to the event by VCCI Secretariat.
